Are you planning to live and study in Canada?
Here are the things that you should think about before coming to Canada.
Canada is a promising country for immigrants and students who would like to live in Canada.
This blog will help you with what you need to know if you are planning to study in Canada.
1. Begin searching for your school. It could be a university, college, trade, or vocational institution. Choose a Designated Learning Institution that has a valid DLI number and can admit International students. This institution can provide a pathway for an International student to apply for a Post Graduate Work Permit after the completion of the Program.
Here is the list of the Designated learning Institution.
Please note that your study permit approval depends on the right institutions in Canada.
The following are the documents needed to apply for a study permit in Canada
· Letter of Acceptance from the institution (issued by approved DLI)
· Valid passport
· Police Check or NBI Certificate for Filipino applicant
· Letter of explanation for your studies (reasons why you want to study in Canada and prove your ties with your home country).
2. Decide what type of program suits your need and interest.
Evaluate your goal while choosing the right program for you. Do you need a career that supports our hobbies, or do you want a complete change in your career, and consider the length of your studies.
3. Prepare the documents required by the preferred institution.
The following are the sample document checklist that you may need for program application:
a) Passport photo and signature pages of your passport
b) Academic records:
